As part of the agro –tourism project, efforts are on to set up a wind park in Chembakassery, Alappuzha to allure tourists. The park is expected to be open to the public by August 2018. Constructed on the Padmakshi Kavala-Andhakaranazhi Road, it is expected to be an elderly- and youth-friendly park. The project has been initiated and carried out by the Pattanakkad Panchayat in Alappuzha district.
