The Government Botanical Garden is situated in OOTY also known as Udhagamandalam, near Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu state. The foundation stone was laid out in 1848.Operated by Horticulture Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, It covers an area of around 55 hectares.
