VAIGA (Value addition for Income Generation in Agriculture) international workshop and exhibition began at Kerala Agricultural University (KAU), Vellanikkara. Organised with the objective of bridging the gap between farm producers and entrepreneurs, the five-day VAIGA festival will have international-level workshops and exhibitions. This edition of VAIGA will concentrate on value addition of banana, honey, coconut, and millets. In addition to agricultural experts from all over the country, representatives from Singapore, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Jakarta will also participate in the programme.
