Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India


Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple is  one of the very rare temples where Lord Vishnu or Padmanabha is on a reclining pose on the serpent god Anantha from whom the capital receives its name Thiruananthapuram, the land of holy Anantha. Situated in an 8 acre-plot in the heart of city, the temple has for long remained a wonder for visitors from far and wide.
