Chembai Sangeetholsavam 2017, Guruvayoor, Thrissur, Kerala


As part of the Ekadasi day, a 14-day Chembai Sangeetholsavam will be held in the month of November, at the Sree Krishna temple at Guruvayur , organized by the Guruvayur Devaswom board. The  sangeetolsavam ends with the Pancharatna keerthanam, by Masteros of Karnatic music field.

Karthigai Deepam festival is on 2nd December,2017


Karthigai Deepam 2017 will be celebrated on 2nd December.Karthigai Deepam festival is celebrated during Purnima that is on full moon day

Kali Puja 2017 will be held on 14th November




Kali Puja or Shyama Puja is a popular Hindu festival celebrated especially in Bengal on the new moon night . The festival is  dedicated to the worship of goddess Kali. While the people of Bengal, worship goddess Kali on the Kali pooja day, the other part of the  country worships Lakshmi the Goddess of wealth.

Pushkar fair starts on 28th November, 2018.




Pushkar fair,  one of the most biggest event in india starts on 28th November, 2018. The fair ends on 4th November, 2018. Situated near  Ajmer in Rajasthan, Pushakar fair is World's largest camel fair where Around 50,000 camel are gathered. Apart from the camels, trades of animals like horses, cows, sheep and goats  happens here.  There are competitions among the colorfully decorated camels  and the winner will get attractive prizes.

Hampi utsav is on 3rd November, 2018.


Hampi utsav will begin on 3rd November. The utsav ends on 5th November. Utsav showcases music cincert, dance performances, sound and light show, art and craft exhibitions and more.

Gurunanak Jayanti or Guru Nanak's Prakash Utsav is on 4th November 2017.


Gurunanak Jayanti, also called Guru Nanak Gurpurab and Guru Nanak's Prakash Utsav is celebrated on the full moon day of the Karthik month.A special community lunch is also arranged at Gurudwara, which they call Langar. In some of the Gurudwaras, the evening prayers and kirtan are also done.

58th Kerala school kalolsavam will begin on58th January 2018 in Thrissur, the cultural capital of Kerala. Thekkinkadu Maidanam will be the main venue. Kalolsavam ends on 10th January, 2018.

Feast of Saint Raphael, Ollur is on 23 and 24th October 2018


the great Feast of Saint Raphael, Ollur is is celebrating on 23 and 24th October. The  attraction of the festival is the Vala procession which is coming from the six zones of Ollur . The main part of the festival is the procession carrying the statues of the four angels, Saint Raphael, Saint Michael, Saint Gabriel, and the Guardian Angel, in the Roopakkoodu.

Kalpathi Ratholsavam is on 14th November 2018


The annual chariot festival, also known as Kalpathi Ratholsavam will  start on 14th November at Sree Viswanatha Swamy Temple at Kalpathi, Palakkad, Kerala. The festival ends on 16th November. The temple is dedicated to Lord Viswanatha or Shiva and is believed to be 700 years old.

The Palliyara Sree Bhagavathy Temple, also known as Chianthi ambalam, dedicated to spider is a sacred temple of worship for those ailing and suffering from spider poison or toxins.
The temple is located in 10 KM away from Adoor and 11 km from Pathanamthitta, the back drop of the Sakthibhadra Samskarika Kendram Complex ,    located one kilometer east of the Kodumon market centre on the Chavara Pathanamthitta P.W.D   road. It is believed to be only one of its kind in India which attracts thousands of devotees  every year.
